The Catamaran Resort Hotel offers casual elegance in a tropical paradise with acres of lush foliage and sun drenched beaches. The Catamaran Tower commands a view from the shores of La Jolla to Old Mexico and over Mission Bay to Point Loma and the spectacular San Diego Skyline. Sea world, the world famous San Diego Zoo and San Diego International Airport are just minutes away. Take a relaxing stroll around the resort property to observe the exotic plants and flowers that were collected from around the world. Dont miss our Macaws Eclectic parrot Australian black swans and other exotic wildlife located around the resort. In the ponds are also frogs, crayfish, catfish, minnows and Koi. The hotel has approximately 100 different varieties of palm trees and 1,000 different varieties of plants. The plants and trees come from all over the world. The Tippuana Tippu is the true rosewood from Brazil. The Christ Palm is found in Argentina or Bolivia. The Alobanti trees came from the Nibidian Coast in Africa. The blood cactus is native to the Canary Islands. Our cycads are a South Pacific variety. They are the oldest plant in the world. Studio Room:

Bay Front Suite:
