Nags Head North Carolina Tourism - Best Beaches and Resorts

Nags Head is located on the Outer Banks off US158 and US64. It is near Kitty Hawk and Kill Devil Hills. The town has lots of art galleries.

Activities to enjoy include swimming, fishing, water sports, golf, hiking.

Nags Head Wood Preserve is a Maritime forest and a national natural landmark. The preserve is located on the western shore of Nags Head. It is located off US 158. Bird Watch. There are hiking trails and a visitor's center.

Jockey's ridge State Park is located at Nags Head off US 158. It is the  tallest sand dune (140 ft high).  You can go kite flying and hand gliding here. There are hiking trails. No camping permitted.

Nags Head Golf Links is an 18 hole Championship Course designed by Bob Moore. It is located off US158.

Nagshead fishing pier has a restaurant on pier. In October the fishing pier hosts the Nags Head Fishing Club invitational tournament.
